Google Is Scary
Ok, maybe that's a little misleading. As we all know and love, Google is a search engine. It does the job so well, it's become a verb. I came across something on one of the social networking sites that caught my interest. There's a "feature" that lets you hide certain information. Mine is public and other people I know have theirs public too. I think it makes for better community and whatnot. I just thought it strange when I came across the first private one. It piqued my interest. Yes, I am aware that curiosity killed the cat, but I'm just curious by nature. I think it's in my jeans genes. Of course I fired up Google and did a search. It turns out the feature is useless. I got a nice list of what the feature was meant to hide. It also made me wonder why the person was hiding it. I didn't see any point in it. Google does its job of searching very well. A bit scary how well that is sometimes. I can imagine some government spook data mining using Google. (X_x) ちょっとこわい。

For Those Keeping Score
I know I haven't said much about the damn SS of late, but never fear. I just talked to my lawyer's secretary today. The SS has been sued and served. The lawyer's office expect a reply from them late next week or shortly thereafter. They had to search for the driver since he's MIA. They found him in Virginia and the suit is out to be served. For the conspiracy theorists, it seems like the moved him back to the HQ after his job was done. Perhaps a promotion...
