Bye Bye Vista

I got rid of Vista. Followed some instructions on the web to get the XP bootloader back and deleted the partition that Vista was on. I don't know whether I should blame Microsoft or Sony for the whole driver mess. I couldn't get all the drivers to make it work. Vista is better to look at than XP, but it was annoying. I didn't mind the UAC, but there were parts that I wanted to tweak but couldn't. It was a bit of usability hell. I just gave up. I didn't want to spend too much time on something that's not even working.

I guess I'll embrace Vista when I get a Vista preloaded machine.
