I recently saw a blog talking about the Japanese and their crazy views on privacy. The stuff they get all hot and bothered about are non issues for the most part, because it falls under fair use, right to publicity, First Amendment, etc. in the States. In the States, there's expectation of privacy, but the Courts aren't such idiots that they grant a blanket protection. If you're out and about where people can see you, you don't have any right to complain about your photo being taken. If you were on private property, it's a slightly different thing. It's a legal issue and can get convoluted, so I suggest you consult a lawyer or a law professor for the details.
I ran across the perfect item for these Japanese who are worried about their privacy. Now everybody can be happy and not worry about "blurry-face-disease".
Who knew such things went on, and here I thought we were the nonsensical ones.
