Why is it that things don't work the way you want them to? I was looking for someone, but they have it so that you can only search by last name. Would it have been so hard to make it searchable by first name? NOT!! Stupid people. I wonder who comes up with these useless crap.
I couldn't help notice how crappy the disk rack design is. I noticed it a while back when I was doing the dishes. I could see few design modifications that would make a world of difference.
Perhaps it's the Wal-Mart mentality. Cheaper the better and hell with quality.
I guess I better get cracking on making the world better. (^_^);;

Commercials aka CM
Why do companies make it so hard for you to download commercials? Isn't the whole purpose of a commercial to advertise something? Don't they want more eyeballs seeing it? Don't they want you to share it?
I guess they want you to stick around on their website and look at other things. Ha, I usually look for a commercial on a site because it's funny, cool, or whatever. I don't want to look at the site. Half the time I'm not even interested in anything they are peddling. It might be because they didn't get the distribution rights from the people who made the commercials, but that's just stupid. Why pay money for something you can't really use? They should look for someone that would let them distribute it anyway they want if that's the case.
No better way to make me ignore a company and their product faster than a commercial that's not downloadable.
I was watching キリン生茶 (kirin namacha) commercial starring 松嶋菜々子 (matsushima nanako). It's where she's on skis going to the convenience store. It's cute. Even if the panda's a little funky looking... Yes, it is an old commercial. Ask me about it when you see me if you're interested.
In case you didn't notice, I really like commercials. Only the good ones. We don't have too many here. Foreign commercials are a lot better than ours.

Finished for now
Finished uploading the photos from my trip almost couple years ago to flickr. Maybe I'll upload other photos later.
Inane Dribble
Hehehe, my English posts deal with mostly what's going on in my life or what I find interesting... Like the subtitle of my blog says, this is where I just jot things down that comes to mind. It's for my friends to find out what's going on in my life if they are inclined. I have a readership of two as far as I can tell. (>.<) Not that I really mind. It helps to weed out real friends from the flakes. (^_^) My posts in other two language are nothing substantial. It's mostly my wondering where the cute girls are. (^_^);; It's more of a practice writing in foreign languages.
Oh, I guess I forgot to mention that I finished my Teaching ESL certificate program. Anybody need help with their ESL? (^_^);; I don't think my current readership needs any help in that department. I believe they need help with French and Korean. Parlez-vous français? Je ne parle pas français. Yes, I know it doesn't make much sense, but I'm an a nonsensical guy from time to time. It's my brand of humor.
Wow, spell check is extremely hostile toward foreign accent marks. (>_<) OMFg I just realized Dave sounds like Paris!! Waaaaahahahahahahaha. (^_^);; That's cool. She's not a bad looking girl even if she's a bit sleazy.

Miscommunication
I was watching Oprah (I know I never watch that show, but they were talking about health issues and with my recent injuries I figured it wouldn't hurt. (>.<)) and saw a Pine Sol commercial. The guy said something like "야 그거 진짜 냄새 좋타." and of course they translated it as being "Wow, that smells really clean." or something like that. If you ever watch stuff with subtitles, this happens all the time. I think they are just being lazy. It's possible that they are just incompetent. In case you're wondering what it is that the guy said... He said "Hey, that smells really good (nice)." It's the little things that bother me the most...
I think I'm going to go short and purple. I guess I better find a place...
I guess I better hit the hay.
歩美ちゃんはどこいたの?大丈夫かな。

OSx86 & flickr
Interesting things going on with people running OS X on x86 platform OSx86 Project has all the details among various other sites. Does this mean there's no need for FlyakiteOS? Well, probably not. It's like apples and oranges.
I'm going to upload pictures to my flickr account. When did they get bought out by Yahoo!? Uploading little by little. Check it out @ http://www.flickr.com/photos/james2us/

Topics & Help!!
Got back from my chiropractic appointment. I'm making progress. (^_^)
I saw a bumper sticker that read "I'm glad I live in a blue state" or something like that. Made me wonder about the choice of Red and Blue. Isn't it the "Red Scare" and the "Red Menace"? Also aren't we still at war with the North Koreans who are represented by the color red, goes with communism. As you know the Korean War (I've heard "Police Action", "Korean Conflict", etc. but I don't think the veterans would agree.) never ended. It just resulted in a cease fire.
Anyway I'm listening to My Little Lover's Topics (scroll down) as I'm writing. I was listening to it on the way back in the car. (^_^) It's the 1st track on the album. I got my copy on my last trip to Japan from Book Off. I have membership here and in Japan. The Japanese membership card is cool compared to what they give you here. So behind the times. (T_T)
I'm going to have to set aside a few hours each day to study some foreign languages. I need a lot of review and some new learning. Anybody wanna help? Anybody know nice people who are fluent in Japanese, Korean, and or Thai?

Trilingual blog
I can honestly say I blog in three languages even if the other two are pretty much inane dribble.

Earthquake in Japan
Oh, did you hear about the earthquake in Japan? I guess they were showing a footage from Japanese station since it had the town name in Japanese, 水戸 (mito). It's the capital of 茨城県 (ibaraki prefecture). I did recognize the town name, but the first thing I noticed was the mito Art Tower. It's the thing in the picture. It's from my trip to Japan last year. I could see it in the middle of the video and said to myself, hey that's mito. Ok, now I'm really going back to my homework.
Screwed up titles
Stupid Blogger!! It really doesn't handle smilies well. It royally screws up posts with smilies. (T_T) I had to edit my post several times, because Blogger would delete whole chunks of it just to be mean to the smiley. (>.<) I wish I could edit the damn screwed up titles.
Car accident with the US Secret Service
Hi all, I've been out of actions so to speak... As you can see from my knarly bruise, I have not been all well. Sarah totally freaked out when she saw it. (O.o) I was hit from behind by an employee of the govenment of the United States on the freeway late last month when I was headed to class. (>_<) You remember my little car? I hope you said your goodbyes, because it's totalled. (T_T) The other car wasn't in any better shape, the front half was smooshed and it was leaking coolant on the freeway. Environmental hazard! (>.<)I'm sorry to all those with early August birthdays. I've been a little preoccuppied.
I was on my way to my class as usual. I was almost stopped due to the traffic. I would have been completely stopped if I had a few more seconds. I hear this screech of tires and a bang. Now, I'm looking up at the ceiling/out the windshield and I'm spinning. Well, my car was. I did a 180 into the next lane. When it was over, I was looking at the oncoming traffic on the next lane to which I was driving in. To say the least I was pretty shook up. As you can see from this photo my good friend John Charles Woods took for me, I was pretty banged up. I'm feeling better. I'm not 100%, but getting there. The doc says it's a process and I'm making progress. You know what everyone gets a kick out of in this whole incident? I was hit by a dude from the US Secret Service. The insurance people, the doctors, and my lawyer all seem to be surprised by it. I guess not too many people get hit by these people.
Better go finish up my homework.
